Welcome Back!

Maths

Another very busy week in Maths saw us learning lots of different units of measurement. We had to choose what unit of measurement was best to measure different items. We looked further into measuring length. We measured the length of lots of items in the school. It was lots of fun.

English

We carried on looking at the book 'The Pirates Code'. We designed a WANTED poster for a pirate of our choice, we had to use super adjectives to describe what the pirate looked like, there was lots of unusual looking pirates. We learnt about instructions and what they need. We ordered instructions on how to walk the plank and wrote our own instructions on finding buried treasure.

P.E

We played lots of teamwork games. We learnt that communication and getting along is key to being a successful team.

French

Bonjour! Comment allez-vous? This week in French we have started to have basic conversations. We have learnt to introduce ourselves, ask is someone OK and we have also learnt how to reply.

Topic

In Topic this week we made fact files about a world wonder. We used the tablets and laptops to research and recorded all the information as a fact file. We learnt lots of cool stuff and we can't wait to tell you about it.

Happy Birthday to Abigail who turned 7 this week!
