Friday 30th November

Hello again!

Our electronic board games have really progressed this week and after one more session, they should be completed. Some of them look amazing: they wouldn't look out of place at Smyth's Toyshop.

In other areas, this week has seen us delve into what makes writing persuasive to allow us to draft letters to large supermarket chains to politely, but firmly, request they remove all products containing palm oil as its production is having a devastating environmental impact.

Meanwhile, in maths we have done lots of work in the area of multiplying fractions. We can now multiply proper unlike fractions by another proper unlike fraction and both proper fractions and mixed numbers by a whole number. We've even solved problems using these skills.

Can't believe that this time next week we will be in December!

Have a good week! frown
