Friday 30th September

Welcome back to another week in Year 3W!

Maisie was this weeks pupil of the week for ALWAYS being a pleasure to teach.

Well done again to our Super Star readers! Keep it up, hopefully we can have a few more next week.

In maths this week we have been becoming place value masters! We have been improving our fluency, reasoning and problem solving with place value to show we have a deeper understanding. A deeper understanding is certainly what we have.

In English, we have written our own version of the Stone Age Boy. Mr Fletcher enjoyed reading them. We then wrote a book review for the Stone Age boy, we really did enjoy it.

In Topic we have been making our 3D photo frames. Thank you to everyone that donated their cereal boxes. We are really enjoying making them and cant wait to show you.

We looked at how we move, we learnt last week about our skeleton. This week we learnt about the muscles and joints that allow us to move. It was very interesting.

Friday Afternoon

It was so much fun! The WHOLE school go to play outside, we could go anywhere from the infants playground all the way to the corner of the field. It was a logistical nightmare, but we certainly enjoyed it. Hopefully we can do it again soon. But Mr Sheriff said only if our attendance is as good as last week,
