Welcome back to our blog - we hope you've all had a good week!
We have been doing lots of revsion this week, particularly in grammar. As well as that, we have really got into our new class novel and can't wait to find out what is going to happen.
In maths we have been working on statistics, which involves reading information presented in a variety of ways including tables, graphs and pie charts. The children have really enjoyed doing this.
We have been learning about the work of Edward Jenner in science and his discovery of a vaccine for smallpox. The children found this really interesting. In topic we have been exploring where the ancient tribe, the Myans, came from and have looked at a range of countries in Central America.
All in all, a nother busy week in year 6!
Have a good Bank Holiday weekend and we will see you on Tuesday.
Love from Mrs Parry & Mrs Melling xx
