Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog. Here is what we have been up to this week..
We have been focusing on poetry this week, The Spinner and The Dragonfly, and interpreting what is written. It's been a tricky task but with perseverance, the children worked through it. We have also carried out a range of grammar activities.
In Maths we have been looking at a range of reasoning questions and applying our arithmetic knowledge to help solve the problems.
We put ourselves in the place of Edward Jenner in Science. We recounted the day when he saw smallpox for the first time and the events that followed. The writing was very impressive, it used a wide range of sophisticated language and sentence structures - well done year 6!
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend and we will see you on Tuesday.
