Wow, another week gone by - where are they going? How are they going by so quickly? Where can we get another? That’s a silly question, there’ll be one right along shortly.😬
In English this week, we have been looking at (amongst other things) homophones. Homophones are words that sound the same but are spelt differently. They also have a different meaning. Some examples are ‘see’ and ‘sea’, ‘where’, ‘were’ and ‘wear’. There are lots when you think about them. In fact, we were amazed by how many different ones there actually are.

We also looked at prepositions. These are word that usually tell you where something is in relation to something else. So in the sentence, the pen is on the table, the preposition is ‘on’.
The man is sat with his wife behind the windbreak.
The lady is sat on the air bed.
The lady is lay across the beach towel under the parasol.
In Maths, we looked at Roman Numerals. They were tricky to begin with, but we got there.
