Hello and welcome back to our blog.
We have had a full on week this week, here is what we have been up to...
In English we have looking at what happened to evacuees during WW2. This links with our class novel and topic at present and I can honestly say that your children are loving it. From everything we have read, researched and listened to, we have drafted a letter in the role of an evacuee based on real life experiences.
We have been using the bar model in maths this week to answer a range of addition and subtraction reasoning problems and wow - some of them were tricky! However, in true year 6 style, your children worked really hard, listened carefully and acted upon advice to conquer them! Well done to them!
We began out animations in computing which are looking just fab - will post them as soon as they are completed!
