Friday 6th June

Hi and welcome back to our blog.

We have had another incredibly busy week. We started off the week by completing some research on an artist called Paul Klee. After looking at his work, we have had a go at our own work  with pastels and water colour following his style and themes. The work looks fantastic!!!! We have created a display to celebrate this on the upper phase corridor.

On Monday afternoon, some us were lucky enough to go and plant some vegetables in the Year 6 beds. We have left these as a legacy for the next children to come into year 6. Hopefully they will be able to harvest them, cook with them and eat them!!

Throughout the week, we have continued to investigate and research the 32 countries, who are taking part in the wold cup. We also has our first puberty lesson. In addition to this we have looked at some poetry. Y6F invited us to join them on Friday so they could share some of their poetry reciting - it was fantastic!!

In Numeracy, we have looked at number patterns and puzzles. Bizarrely, Mrs Walton found a strange game in the stock room. Our challenge is to make up a set of rules!!

Well done to Kane for being the star of the week!
