English
We went to the ALPs this week to think about the setting for the story 'Little Red Riding Hood'. We thought about what we could see and hear. This helped us with our writing about the woods this week.
Maths
In maths we have been thinking about more and less and using the words, 'more than', 'greater than', 'less than', 'fewer', 'least', 'most'. We find these words a little bit tricky to understand and practise at home would help us.
Science
We investigated materials this week and completed a fair test to decide which material would be this best to make a umbrella for the teddy. We tested paper, net and plastic and made it a fair test by keeping the amount of water the same. We found the plastic was the best material for the umbrella.
