Here are the highlights from our week-
In English we have been reading a book called 'The day the crayons quit'
It is a story about a boy called Duncan who has a box of crayons. They write letters to him- some are happy with Duncan, whilst others are sad because they never get used.
The children chose a colour of their choice and wrote their own letter to Duncan.
In our Topic lessons we have been looking at countries around the world. We have located the 7 continents and the 5 oceans.
After learning about the continents, the children were given a list of countries. They used atlases and had to say which continent the country is in.
