Maths
This week in maths we have been learning how to add using a number line. We had to partition the numbers to know how many tens to add and how many ones to add.

English
We have started a new book this week called the Pirate Code. On Monday we had to predict what the book was about, then on Tuesday we wrote a summary about it. On Wednesday we had to answer comprehension questions about the text to show our understanding. Then on Thursday we planned our Captain Greenbeard character description and began to write, we finished our description on Friday. We used some fantastic similes.
Science
In science this week, we learnt about how the digestive system works. We did this through a demonstration. It was really yucky! Check out our photos of the process below.
Topic
In Topic we finished our World Wonder 3D photo frames and then evalulated them. It was so much fun, but we must apologise to Sharon the cleaner for the mess in the classroom.
French
In French we learnt how to count to 5 and re-visited the colours and finger rhymes we have learnt in previous weeks.
P.E
We have moved on from rugby league now and have started our new focus of football. We started the topic by learning how to control and dribble the football.
