Here are the highlights from our week in school.
In English we started a new book called Zog. The book is about a dragon called Zog who attends a dragon school. The children made predictions after hearing the start of the story on what they thought Zog would learn next in school.
Towards the end of the week the children designed their own Dragon school castle and started to think of vocabulary to describe it. Next week the children will write their description.
In Maths the children have continued to learn about many aspects of place value. This week we focused on ordering numbers (smallest to largest and largest to smallest). The children also started to use the symbols < > to compare numbers.
Reminder- the book fair will be in school every night next week so please come along if you can.
