Maths
Having worked on perimeter last week, we moved on to look at area. Area, as you know, is the space inside a shape. The calculation of the area of a rectangle is length x width.

We continued with the talk for writing tasks. Miss Power taught us the ‘boxing up’ technique. This is basically picking out the key features of the texts we have looked at to enable us to apply it to our own writing.
Science
Science was simply Jodrell Bank; where we were able to take part in many exciting activities/experiments!

INTERNET SAFETY DAY
Internet Safety Day took place on Tuesday 5th February. As our lives are spent increasingly on the internet, it’s important that we know how to stay safe. The focus this year is on consent. Consent is an agreement to what someone wishes; permission.
