Friday 8th March

Hello and welcome back to our blog…

As usual, it’s been full on this week with lots of new learning going on!

We have continued with measurement in maths but this week we have looked at volume as well. We then had a go at transferring our knowledge into reasoning problems which were quite tricky…we will continue with these into next week!

In English we have started to look at a clip called Before Sunrise. We have created a wanted poster as well as some fantastic sentences and will continue to write about this next week. We have also just finished Hetty Feather…wow what an ending!!

In topic we have been looking at the types of toys that Victorian children would have played with. We then made our own peg dolls which were very interesting!!

Thanks again to those who attended the workshop on Wednesday. If you couldn’t make it, please feel free to join us next week.

Just a quick reminder that our trip to Quarry Bank Mill is on Wednesday. Please ensure that children bring a coat and if they are on packed lunches to bring it in a throw away bag.

Have a good weekend and we will see you on Monday.

Love from Mrs Parry, Mrs Melling & Mr Jackson xx
