This week we have entered the fantasy world of Narnia as we embark on our new class Novel, The lion, the witch and the wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. We researched the great man to produce his biography. Here are some fascinating facts we found about him:
He was enlisted to the British Army in World War one .
Lewis attended a few diffrent schools and he won a scholarship to go to university.
C.S Lewis was wounded in 1918 and soon recovered.
Did you know that C.S Lewis had weak lungs so he had to move schools?
C.S Lewis died in 1963.
C.S. Lewis was friends with another great author, JRR Tolkien.
C.S Lewis got a lot of inspiration for his writing from Beatrix Potter, the author.
C.S Lewis was born in Northern Ireland, 1898 C.S Lewis died on the same day that John F Kennedy was shot in America.
C.S lewis had a little team of friends who liked reading books inkluding J.R.R tolking.
