Friday 8th September

Before we forget, please be sure to join us on Tuesday for mince pies, a quick chat and a brew during our "drop-in" session. There, you can browse books and have a look at some of the things we've been doing.

In English, we have read the first chapter of our class novel (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) and used it to inspire our own writing. Where would our own magical wardrobe lead us to?

In maths we have worked with decimal numbers: partitioning each digit into their place value. We have also divided decimals and multiplied numbers with up to 3 decimal places by 10, 100 and 1000.

In science, having studied how to control components on a circuit, we have started building an electronic board game. Take a look at the results so far. We will show the finished results in due course.
