Friday 9th December
Greetings to you all from 6W. As always, it has been a action-packed week in Year 6.
In Maths, the children have had a taste of what a SATS paper is like. They have completed the arithmetic paper, as well as the two reasoning papers they are expected to do.
In English, the children watched the BBC Christmas advert from 2015 that featured a cute, little fellow known as Sprout Boy. They have written the story of his journey to find some Christmas friends. Take a look at the advert by clicking on the link below...

Our certificate winner this week is Raghad. She won for her enthusiasm, effort and application in her maths assessment this week. A huge congratulations to her from all of us. 
DIARY DATES
Just a reminder that next THURSDAY 15th DECEMBER it is the children's Christmas Party. They can come into school in their own clothes for the day. Please make sure that the clothes are appropriate for the cold weather, as they will still be playing outside. Also, the Autumn term finishes next FRIDAY 16th DECEMBER for the Christmas holidays.
