Maths
This week has been all about lines. We have learnt about perpendicular lines, parallel lines, horizontal lines and vertical lines. We then used our knowledge of these to draw a house.
English
We started a new book, called the 'Pirates Next Door'. You can read it below! We made a prediction, then plotted the story on a story mountain. After that, we wrote a character description for Jim Lad. Then we compared and contrasted the two homes.

Topic
This week in Topic we looked at the countries and cities that make up from Britain. We had to use an Atlas to label these on a map.
French
Maddame Wilson came to see us this week, she taught us the different vowel sounds.
Computing
We have started looking at databases, and to kick start our project we played a game of Guess Who were we looked at which questions removed the most people.
PSHE
This week it was all about democracy. We learnt about the General Election, then thought about what we would change if we were Prime Minister.
P.E
In P.E we had the choice of either rounders or football. It was lots of fun.
