Welcome back to another busy week!
This weeks star pupil was Layton for his mature and sensible attitude to learning. Well Done Layton. Keep it up!
This week the travelling book fair has been in school. I hope you all got chance to check it out!
Maddison won a prize for creating an evil villan, she got to choose a book from the book fair.
Maths
This week in Maths we have been using the column method to add and subtract. We even managed to add and subtract 3-digit numbers. We found this very difficult but in the end we all nailed it.
English
This week we have been looking at instructions. On Monday we visited the ALPS and drew a story map of our journey. We then turned these into a set of instructions, which our year colleagues will follow.
Topic
We have been looking at countries and their capital cities. We had to use the tablets to research. It was lots of fun!
