Happy Chinese New Year!
We have been learning about other cultures through celebrating
Chinese New Year.
We tasted new food such as rice, noodles, spring rolls and prawn
crackers for snack.
We watched videos of Lion/Dragon dancing and used a variety of materials to construct and decorate our own. During outdoor play we used the Dragon to dance along to the music, taking it in turns to be the Dragons head.
Do you know what they use in China to eat their food?............Chopsticks!!
The children experienced using chopsticks to pick up crisp, it was really tricky. But the children did a great job. High five.
