Week commencing 12th July.
We have had lots of fun this week on our last full week in the Butterfly Room.
Justine brought us some lovely stories that we found very funny - Dinosaurs Love Underpants, Aliens Love Underpants, Pirates Love Underpants, Monsters Love Underpants and Aliens love Panta Clause (you can buy these in Asda in the 2 for £7 book offer)
We designed our own underpants with lots of different creative resources, we made aliens with the play dough using googley eyes, little sticks, Pom poms and pipe cleaners. We drew monsters using white board pens and white boards.
We practiced our fine motor skills threading cheerios onto pipe cleaners.
We used the guttering and stands to race cars into a small puddle of water, the children loved watching them splash!
We made a muddy farm using cornflour, cocoa powder and water to make gloop and added the farm animals. The children loved exploring the texture of the gloop.
We even made a castle!
We enjoyed lots of water play outside with the weather being so hot. The children thought it was so funny splashing Kelsey!
We used chalk to make marks on the floor, we have enjoyed dancing with the ribbons and instruments and blowing and popping bubbles.
We are really going to miss all the children, we have all made lovely bonds with each other and it has been a pleasure watching them grow and learn and we wish them all the best in their new adventures!

Week commencing 5th July 😄
This week our children have had lots of fun painting, drawing and even icing biscuits.
Our boys and girls have enjoyed using scissors to cut the jelly pieces.
