March 19th
Our two focused activities this week have been very different. We looked at story sacks and enjoyed looking at the books and using the puppets and animal toys to tell the story. We also developed own speech and language skills when looking at the books together.
Our second focused activity was to play various ball games and begin to play cooperatively with others. The children all took it in turn to roll the ball to a grown up and was encouraged to roll it back. For the older children we made it a bit harder by addding a basket and encouraging them to throw the ball into it, which you can see they all really enjoyed and did with ease.
