November - December 2018

This term we have been celebrating!

Halloween, Bonfire Night, Diwali, Remembrance Day, Children in Need and from the 3rd December we will be starting to celebrate Christmas!

We have used various craft materials to make pumpkins, bats and ghosts. We also baked bat biscuits.

We made firework pictures using black card, glue and glitter, and made fireworks using toilet roll tubes, tissue paper, pipe cleaners and glitter. We decorated biscuits using sprinkles and coloured icing sugar to look like bonfires. We also made sparklers using chocolate fingers and sprinkles.

For Diwali, the festival of light, we made diva lamps using salt dough and sequins.

To celebrate Remembrance Day we made our own wreaths out of paper plates. We painted our own poppies and stuck those on with a picture of a soldier.

We also made crosses with our own pictures and messages on, and used tissue paper to make our own poppy flower badge.

To raise money for Children in Need we spent the week baking yummy goodies to sell to our parents, including biscuits and cakes.

We raised a huge £152.01!

We now have a session to use the climbing wall every week which the children love. We can’t believe how brave they are and how many can get to the top!

We always have lots of fun playing games and drawing with our friends, have a look!
