Tuesday 2nd June

Good morning Year 2.

We hope you are well and enjoyed having a go at the dinosaur activities yesterday!

This week in English we are going to be focusing on using adjectives to improve our sentences even more.

Today we would like you to work on choosing an appropriate (good) adjective to describe a setting.  Below is a picture of a waterfall setting with lots of different adjectives around the outside of it. Think about which adjective does the best job of describing the picture. Write a list of adjectives that are most appropriate. You can also include your own ideas too. If you're stuck, why not have a look at the online dictionary and thesaurus below to help.

For maths this week, we'd like you use the White Rose maths resources this week to recap the work we did in class recently on division. Today please complete lesson 1 - the ten X table. Please see the link below and complete the questions on the document (you don't need to print this). There is also a link to BBC bitesize with related links to complement the video.

Remember to send us any pictures you take of the work you have done, we love to see your writing!

Take care, see you again tomorrow

Love from the Year 2 team x x x
