This week we have been focusing on our social interactions, building friendships, using our resources with a purpose and building our vocabulary skills through intensive interactions with the grown ups.
All these important skills are done everyday through our play.

We have been making pizzas, adding different topping whilst talking about the touch, smell and taste of the ingredients and also talking about what foods we like to eat at home.

We have been gaining independence within the classroom through introducing

on-going snack. We have been making choices as to what we would like to eat for snack, peeling the fruit independently and also pouring our own drinks.

The ALP’s - On Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning, the children visited the ALP’s area at the back of school. The children love to put on their wellies and go exploring through the woods. Climbing trees, running up and down the hills, looking for mini beasts, crunching and collecting leaves and twigs, listening for and recognising different sounds around them.
