What a busy week back at Pre-school!
We have had some more new friends start with us, who have really enjoyed their first week and our boys and girls have been brilliant friends when showing the new children what we do in Pre-school. High fives for everyone.
On Tuesday, we had delicious pancakes for snack.
We had a choice of jam, chocolate spread, lemon and sugar, we used super skills when spreading the toppings we had chosen. Do you know which was the children’s favourite?………….. chocolate spread 😁
This week some of the boys and girls have begun to practice writing the letters of their name. They have been superstars when holding their pen demonstrating control to form the letters. Each day the children will practice and very soon will be bringing a name writing pack home so they can show how fantastic they are.
We love to be outdoors!
Everyday the children access outdoor play in all weathers. It is an important part of our curriculum for the children to explore the world around them. It’s really important your child always brings a coat to Pre-school.
World Book Day
The Thursday morning children joined in with our celebrations for World book day.
We dressed in our pyjamas and brought our favourite teddy. We shared stories throughout the day using puppets and masks to enhance storytelling.
We baked yummy choc chip cookies and shared them with our teddies for a story picnic.
