wb 6th March

Year 3F enjoyed their next Be Great session. This week we learnt about the Eatwell Plate and sorted foods into the different categories. The children then enjoyed trying some fruits that they have never tasted before!

On Wednesday, we learnt about International Women's Day and why is it important. We talked about Rosa Parks, Emmeline Pankhurst, Marie Curie, Queen Elizabeth, Ellie Simmonds, Emma Raducanu and many more! We each thought about how these women inspire us.

In science, we have been learning about shadows. We worked in partners to use torches as our light source to create different shadow puppets. The closer our hands were to the torch, the bigger the shadow. The further away our hands were from the touch, the smaller the shadow.

Y3F achieved the highest attendance again this week. As a reward they came into school wearing non-uniform. Well done!
