Another busy week in Year 3! In topic, we have been learning about the different landmarks in the UK that we would see on our journey from Lands End to John O'Groat's. We used the internet to research a landmark and write a fact about it.
In maths, we have continued to learn about fractions. We have been focusing on finding unit and non-unit fractions of a set amount.
In science this week, we have been learning about how water transports through plants. We carried out an experiment by putting sticks of celery in a jar of water each, with food colouring. We placed the different jars in the fridge, window and cupboard. We will be checking them each day to find out what temperature is better for water to transport through a flower.
