Welcome back to our class blog.
In Maths we have been continuing our work about time. We have been learning about quarter to and quarter past. We also found out that there are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in 1 hour. We have moved on to learning about the duration of time, for example, what time it would be one hour before a given time.
This week in English we have continued our work on Kassim and the Greedy Dragon. We have moved on to the innovation stage of our writing where we changed some parts of the story. Some of us changed the main character and the setting.
In Topic we are continuing our work about Great Explorers. This week we found out about Robert Falcon Scott. He was significant because he was one of the first to reach the South Pole.
This week in PE we had lots of fun learning how to play rounders. The teachers were very impressed with how far we could hit the ball!
