Welcome back to our class blog.
This week in Maths we have continued our work on finding 1/2, 1/4 and 1/3 of given numbers. We are able to find 3/4 and 2/3 of amounts too. We have also moved on to solving problems using fractions.
In English we are still continuing our work about ‘The Twits’. We started the week with writing an independent description of Mrs Twit using all of our previous work to help us. After that, we moved on to think of adjectives to describe Mr Twit so we could write some exciting sentences about him. Our class novel at the moment is ‘The Twits’ and we always really look forward to reading it!
In Science this week we looked at the different parts of a plant and the important job that each one has. We finished the lesson by looking at the plants we are growing as part of our experiment.
