Week 2

Hello everybody!

This week we have been continuing to learn about the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

We had a special delivery of caterpillars!

We talked about how to look after the caterpillars and the children wanted to give them names.

They chose the names Blue, Belle, Eric, Daisy and Aurora.  They were so tiny and are already growing bigger.

This week the farm came to the ALPS.  It was a little rainy but we were not going to let that dampen our spirits.  We put on our wet suits and went out to meet the animals.

There was Maggie the chicken, Mary the lamb, Ralf the calf and lots of other animals.

We have also been on our class trip to Imagine That!

We had so much fun watching a science show, making slime, making bathbombs, decorating fridge magnets and PLAYING! there was an imagination village, science zone and art area.  It was so much fun.

We have also jumped onto the Orange balloon!

Please remember next week we have parent meetings 7th and 10th May- select an appointment time if you haven't already!

On the 9th it is graduation pictures- please bring your child to school between 9 and 10am, if they do not normally attend on Thursday, so that they can have their photograph taken.  You will have to stay with your child.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend.
