Week 3
Superworm
We continued our Julia Donaldson topic with the book ‘Superowrm’.
On Monday we went into the forest 🌳 to read our story and search for our very own Superworm.
The children collected lots of worms and we decided to make our own Wormery.
First we added gravel
We then added sand
And soil
We then placed leaves on the top
Finally we added our worms
The children developed their phonic awareness of initial sounds, by sorting the initial sounds from the book.📚
The children made their own worms using pipe cleaners and beads. The children’s challenge was to make a repeated pattern using the beads.
