Week 7
Welcome to our last blog of the spring term, this week we have been reading the Easter Story and learning all about Spring.
Maths Challenge
The children’s maths challenge was to order numbers on Easter Eggs, this was an independent challenge working with numbers upto 20.
Spring Writing
The children’s writing challenge was to write a simple sentence about what we see in spring. The children are becoming fabulous writers and are now even using capital letters and full stops.
Observational drawings
The children have been making observational drawings of daffodils as part of our learning about what flowers grow in spring.
On Wednesday we had our Easter Bonnet parade to show of our creatations to Mr Nicholson our school governor. All the children who took part received a chocolate egg, the winner got a large egg.
