Week Beginning 26th September

This week we have started to give out star of the day, this can be given out for any reason such as being a superstar at nursery, helping out with tasks, showing can do attitudes, toileting and kind hands😀 all children will get one at some point so don’t worry if your child hasn’t got one this week they have still all been superstars in their own ways😀👍

This week in nursery we have had a busy week we have started toothbrushing with the children, they all have shown good can do attitudes In doing this. We have also started bucket time, which is an activity to encourage children’s listening and attention skills and to increase language, the children are encouraged to look and not touch the toys as the adult leads this activity. The bucket includes sensory lights, and small toys which the children enjoy watching, we use familiar phrases eg “ready steady go“ “spinning lights” “1,2,3 go”. The children really enjoy this time, take a look..

Bucket time😀👍
