week ending 21st December 18

Hello and welcome back to our final blog of 2018. What a year it has been. The children have been amazing and we have kept them busy learning every single day. This week we have been celebrating Christmas and learning about the meaning behind it.
We have extended the Christmas theme into our doodlesticks session. We are continuing to work on our pencil control, hand eye co-ordination and letter formation through fun, interactive and hands on sessions. We will continue this in 2019 smiley
We have also been undertaking our daily challenges. Here we are making shapes using elastic bands.
We have also been playing a game that involve us having half of a Christmas card and having to hunt around the classroom to find the matching half. This was great fun!

We also had the best time at our Christmas party. We danced, sang and ate lots of delicious food. Perfect end to a busy week. All that's left to say is that all the staff wish you a very happy Christmas and we hope you have a wonderful relaxing time together.

See you all in 2019 ready and raring to learn
