week ending 21st January 2022
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. This week has been all about Fee Fi Fo Fum - can you guess what out text of the week is? Yes, you have guessed it right. Jack and the Beanstalk. Let's take a little look at what we have been learning about this week.
We listened to the story and thought about all of the different illustrations that we saw. We chose our favourite and used a leaf to contain our illustration. Can you guess what is happening in each of the photographs?
We then added them to the beanstalk that we made and look at the end result. What a wonderful masterpiece. We are very proud of it 
We have also been thinking about different genres in writing. Ecah week we will explore making lists, recipes etc and this week we have made a list of all of the things that Jack took from the Giant. Our writing is coming on a treat and we are super proud of the children's efforts. Keep up the good work
We have also been exploring patterns. Did you know that you can make a pattern out of almost anything? We do! Here we are using things we found in the classroom to make a repeating pattern. Good work 
Next week we will be using the text The Enormous Turnip as the text of the week. Have a little look at home or with a grown up on the Internet before Monday.
