Week ending 28th June 2019

Hello and welcome back to this weeks blog and what a wonderful week it has been. Let's take a little look at what we have been learning about this week .......
This week we have been taking our learning outside and enjoying the sunshine. We have been developing our skills when writing our name and been doing it on a large scale to help us really form our letters correctly.
We have also been developing our skills when writing number sentences. Take a look at how proud we are when we achieve what we set out to do yes
The outdoors is so very important in the Early Years and we have worked hard to create a lovely, cosy reading corner outside our classroom. The children help to choose and change the books each week and it is a little like going to the library.
We have also enjoyed some time in our Year 1 classroom. We had a go at lots of different activities and met all of the staff and this will really help us to settle quickly next year. Thank you Miss Lodge and Mrs Duckworth we really enjoyed ourselves and came back with lots of excited chatter smiley

Please remember that we are inviting parents into school to meet with myself and Miss Lodge on Wednesday 3rd July and this will be parents opportunity to meet Miss Lodge and receive information about Year 1 and to also collect your child's report. We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday.

Have a wonderful weekend in the sun smiley
