Week Ending 30th June
Welcome back to our class blog. This week in Reception has been very exciting as we have been looking forward to our Rock Kids day!
Our text of the week has been Room on the Broom which is a story we are very familiar with. We have completed lots of lovely literacy activities.
During Maths this week we have worked hard to explore different types of pattern making. We looked at making repeating patterns in a circular shape.
We took a trip to the ALPS. We walked very sensibly and read our story when we got there. We also celebrated a birthday with cake and sang happy birthday, how lovely!
On Wednesday, we had Rock Kids Day! We enjoyed singing and dancing and we even dressed in our rock star clothes!
