Hello and welcome back to our class blog. Who can believe that we only have two more weeks left in Reception? What an amazing time we have had together. Let's look at this weeks learning. This week we have been exploring the text Tabby McTat. Here are just some of the lovely invitations to play and learn we have explored this week 
This week we have been exploring how to show different numerals using numicon. We explored n umbers beyond 10 and wow we were blown away with the children's knowledge
We have also been learning about how we can add different numbers together to make 10. The children have been exploring how to create a number line and use it to help them identify patterns. Great work everyone 
We have also been exploring how we can use our knowledge of letter sounds to help us retell and record what we know about stories. Here we are retelling the story of the Tiger who came to Tea and Room on the Broom
We have been developing our social skills this week in lots of different contexts. We have been focusing on learning how we can work together to achieve a shared goal. We have been developing and using our negotiation skills, sharing and using words to express our needs and opinions. Take a look at just one of the activities we have done this week. Working together to make wall art. Fabulous 
We have also been promoting using our Read Write Inc skills independently. Look at the writing we have produced. What words can you think about that begin with the sound th?
Next week we will be using the text Charlie Cooks favourite Book. I have inserted the link below if you would like to watch it together before Monday. On Monday morning (weather dependent) we will be visiting the ALPS.
