Week Ending 7th July
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. This week our story has been Tabby Mctat by Julia Donaldson. We love to learn more about Julia Donaldson books and we have read so many now!
We have completed lots of lovely literacy activities this week from labelling to wanted posters. We have worked so hard with our writing this year and our teachers are so proud of us.
In Maths this week we have been looking at missing numbers to 20. We worked out the missing number and wrote it to complete the problem.
Following on from our story, we looked at different types of cats. We enjoyed making our own and talking about how different they all were.
During, our last two weeks of Reception we will be extremely busy keeping our learning going to get us ready for year 1. Next week our book will be Charlie Cooks Favourite Book. This story we aren't familiar with so we are looking forward to learning more about it.
