Welcome to our very first class blog. Every week we will upload information, pictures and all kinds of exciting things showing you what we have been learning about in class.

Considering the children have only been here two full days we have hit the ground running. We have been busy learning the routines and planning our day.

Here are a few reminders about what happens on certain days.....

Monday - Please return reading books to school - this is the day that we change them. Also snack money is needed on this day. We ask that the children bring £1 each week.

Read Write Inc bags need to come to school every day please. After we have learned a new sound we will send home a sheet for you to practice together. Five minutes everyday will really help make a difference. 

PE is on Friday morning. Every child needs to have a kit in school and there will be times when we use the equipment so need the children in full kit to do so safely.

Finally, a big plea. Can you check that every item of your child's uniform and PE kit has their name in. We are still finding items unnamed and this makes it difficult to return them to you. 

You may have already noticed that the display boards are filling up nicely in class. The children have been really keen to learn and have settled beautifully.

Next week we are going to be using the text Superworm to support our learning. We will be going to the ALPS on Tuesday so please make sure that your child has wellingtons and a coat.
