Week ending Friday 28th February

Hello and welcome back to our class blog. We hope you all had a fantastic week off and are excited for the new term to commence.

This term we have a new topic - Superheroes. We are all so excited for this topic and we have lots of amazing books lined up for us to explore.

We started our topic off learning all about superheroes. We have been extremely busy!

We've had lots of superhero activities like, ordering our numbers to create a superhero picture and making Spiderman masks. These were so much fun to make and we hope you liked them when we brought them home. We have also been doing some fantastic writing and labelling superhero pictures and we have even taken our time to put superheroes into size order - take a look!

We've been really creative this week making our own superheroes. It was tricky because we weren't told what to do. We had to decide what materials to use and we had to think about the best way to attach them. They turned out great!
We finished off the week celebrating pancake day! We chose the sauces we wanted to put on our pancakes and they were delicious!

It has been a lovely first week back and we are so excited for this term and for spring to arrive.

Just a quick reminder that reading books are changed every Monday and Thursday - please make sure reading books come into school everyday as we all find time to read throughout the week and let us know how fantastic their reading is with a quick comment in their reading diary. This really helps.

Loan library books can be changed on a Monday morning and can we have all PE kits for PE on Friday.

Have a great weekend.
