Week ending Friday 6th September

Welcome to our very first class blog for Reception F. We have had such an amazing first week in our new classroom and we have all really enjoyed getting to know each other.

We have had so much fun this week as we have been finding out everything we can do in our brand new classroom. We have really enjoyed our creative area and have coloured, painted and made so many amazing pictures.

We have a brand new chalk board in our classroom and we have loved getting messy when mark marking and strengthening all of our core muscles. We have also loved our outside area and getting messy with paint and water and playing in the sand. It has been a great way develop our friendships within our class.

We have been trying to read as many books as we can throughout the day and the children have sat so patiently whilst hearing our new stories. They have all been such good listeners. Our reading books are going to get changed every Monday and Thursday and the children can't wait to start reading with you at home.

We can't wait to come back on Monday for our first full week in Reception F.

Just some quick reminders:

- Snack money is £1 every Monday. Throughout the week the children's names will be on bags on our middle table and the snack money can be placed in there.

- PE in Reception F is on a Friday and so we need to make sure all PE kits are in school. Make sure everything is named in their PE kit and it is on their peg ready to start.

We hope you have a great weekend and we are looking forward to next week already.

*** Urgent - if you have a child in Reception F or W please do not send them into school today, they need to isolate. We will be in touch with further information in due course. ***
