Superworm
'Superworm is super long, Superworm is super strong'.
This week we have continued our Julia Donaldson theme by reading the story Superworm.
The children really enjoyed a visit to the ALPS to collect worms to make our very own wormery. We made a list of what we thought the worms would like in their home, this included soil, stones, leaves and carrots.
The children used objects from the story Superworm to continue rhyming strings, we are getting very good at rhyming words.
The children used the coloured worms in the maths area to order them from the longest to the shortest.
The children used objects from the story Superworm and matched the initial sounds to the correct object.
