World Book Day
World book day is a day we celebrate books, authors and storytellers all over the world. We have come to school dressed as characters from our favourite stories.
Arthur: I came as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.
Oliver: I came as Horrid Henry.
Mia: I came as Matilda.
Oscar: Peter Rabbit.
We shared a book with a friend in our English lesson. We had a competition to recreate the front cover of our favourite books.
We also performed a World Book Day Assembly. It was called Once Upon an Alphabet. We sang the song Cheerleader and changed the words to books!!
