Welcome to Year 6!
We have had a wonderful start to the year, with pupils displaying excellent behaviour and an eagerness to learn! We are confident that we are going to have a superb year of learning.
The staff in Y6F are Mrs Roche, Mrs Roberts and Miss Smith. Please speak to us at drop-off or home-time if you have any questions or queries.
Y6 pupils have been given a Westfield PE kit, which should be worn to school on Fridays. In colder weather, plain joggers/leggings and a plain hoodie can also be worn.
Our history topic this half-term is called Mill Child and we will be learning what life was life for children during the Victorian era. To begin the topic, we imagined we were in a Victorian school and practised our handwriting with slate boards and chalk. It was quite tricky!
