This week sees the start of our Monster Maths celebration. We are going to be using various Monster texts for the next 4 weeks as the basis of our learning. This will be linked to Maths learning as well as developing our skills linked to Shape, Space and Measure.
We hosted a Maths stay and play session for parents on Monday afternoon and we are throughly amazed at the turnout. So a huge big thank you as your attendance will really make a difference and i am sure that you found lots of useful ideas to use at home. Here are a few photographs of us busy at work.
We also had a fantastic time playing monster games. We especially loved having to roll the dice and draw the features on the monster according to the number we rolled and identified. This is a small sample of some of our very creative and scary monsters.
