Friday 16th October 2015

In English, we have been looking at conjunctions and how they can be used to join sentences.  Obviously we were really good at this.  We used a whole range of conjunctions to join our sentences.

Also in our English lessons, we have been busy practicing our speaking skills in readiness for our Harvest Assembly next week.  We’re sure that you will be really impressed when you see the finished production.

In Maths we have been working on Roman Numerals.  At the start of the week we worked out which Roman Numerals would represent our numbers.  By Wednesday we were adding and taking away using Roman Numerals.  We know, impressive eh?

In topic we looked at the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb.  It was an amazing story and one that ends with some spooky goings on!  Ask us about what we learnt, and we’ll amaze you with our knowledge.

On Friday afternoon we worked with a partner on our Scratch Tomb Raider game in Computing.  It’s amazing how much work we were able to get done –our games are almost complete!  We are hoping that they will be ready to share next week.  We are looking into a way of sharing these at home too.

We look forward to seeing you next week at our Harvest Assembly on Wednesday 21st October at 9.15am.

Have a nice weekend.  See you next week.
