Welcome back to our blog here are the highlights
In English we have been continuing with the story of the troll and we have compared it to the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The children compared the two stories and looked for the similarities and the differences between them.
The children have also used the structure of the story to plan their own story. Some children have thought of 3 new animals to cross the bridge, some thought of 2 and some picked 1 animal. The children will use this story plan to write their own story next week.
In Maths we have been using dienes equipment. The children have been making various numbers and thinking about tens and units.
Big well done to all the children who have been reading every night!!!!!
Also a big thank you to all the children who completed their homework! Remember to complete homework and return to school by Friday.
