In design and technology we have been experimenting with paper. Before learning how to make a structure more stable, stiffer or stronger we worked in a small group to construct a structure. The children could only use paper and glue or sellotape. They were given a set time and they had to make the structure free-standing. The children worked well together but sadly were not successful (as expected).
Therefore we will learn how to make our paper stiffer, stronger and more stable so we can repeat the activity again.
